CGR 115

The first envelope is acctually upcyled jappanese bussiness papers the second is made on linen both are quite attractive. The second has such a pretty watercolor flower grouping and would be perfect for a florest. The first i might even use for my own projects to send out bussiness info in.

typography

I found this book cover i liked below when searching for typography book covers thought that using that idea and changing it to my own by using molly's profile or even taking the profile of case having cut outs of octogons flying free from the sillioute.

CGR 115

I picked this bussiness card becuase of its creative design the card can be moved represtenting the bussiness since it is for pilates. If buget was not an issue this is a very interesting idea

typography

Here is some examples of cyber space i think the top one is more to the books idea of what it looks like im thinking of using something like this as well for an idea im throwing around.

typography

This is someones concept art of Rivieara prehaps this would make an interesting version of the cover of nuromancer.

typograpy

These are some more pictures of molly millions that if i do a face i would use as a starting point to fill will words which i havent decided on using yet. I need to finish the book first.

CGR-115

I really like the use of color keeping to a basic palette in the warm colors. The design in interesting with the the logo taken apart to just a basic red with the opacity taken down as a water mark on the envelopes. Tying together with the red on the flap of the envelope.

CGR-115

If i had all the money in the world i would love to produce fun cards like this no one would throw these away. There creative and almost permanent perhaps becoming a collectors item years later. This would be an interesting way to bring in business.

CGR 115

I am drawn to the playfulness of these business cards they had a fun aspect to each card. This is something i would probably think about doing for my own cards. It makes them more personal and i would hold on to these.

typography

Im wondering if i do an interesting outline of a building scape of a Japanese city with the girl molly walking in-between the buildings.

typography

This is another version of the neuromancer book cover that i found while i was looking around.

This is another version but the Japanese book cover

typography

This is an artists rendition of Molly Millions and with what i have read about her so far im probably going to use her as my cover piece.

This is a version of the movie poster using molly again.

typography

This is a very strait forward design idea to use the word beards as the beard of the face since i'm assuming that is the title of the book. It looks as if there is some type of print in the background as well perhaps what looks to be newsprint.

typography

I love this version of the cover of neuromancer very haunting with just the use of blue black and white really giving an good adaptation of what the book will be about.

typography

This is a film poster for the movie that is based off the book neruromancer but i love the steam punk design and simple color palette. This really gives a good feel of what i have read so far about the book.

CGR 115

This is a good use of a water mark adding the design to both the letter head as well as the envelope to create a sense of unity.

CGR-115

This looks to be made out of recycled paper or felt of some sort. The colors are in a warm palette of burgundy and brown with the white and gray tying in to the look very naturalistic .

CGR-115

This is another functioning card you have to pull the tab to get to the rest of the cards information letting you linger for a longer period of time. The colors are nice and bright the white being a nice complement to the pink on the inside of the card.

CGR 115

I would keep this card around indefinitely its cute piece of art that you could tack to your board. this is a good idea to incorporate art into a business card.

CGR 115

Cute and interesting for all those crossword fans out there....gives you more time with the business card which means more time looking at the card. Interesting quote at the top that fits in with the card as well.

Graphic design 115

I love this such a interesting way to get a message across this card is made out of what looks like a light  wood. Cut outs show off the business another card that would leave an impact so that you would hold on to it for awhile.

CGR 115

Im not sure what business this is for (more then likely for science) but this is another example of a business card that would be kept around. I love the use of making it more then a piece of paper to be tossed.

CGR 115

This is another fun idea to create a comb for a hair stylest company the colors and cute little chibis are noticeable and if i was to obtain such a cute business card i would hold on to it for awhile.

CGR 115

This is a unique way to advertise with your business card instead of just a basic rectangle they have managed to make something fun and functional really interesting idea.

typography

While i was searching for images of neuromancer and found true dedication to the book. These are excerpts from the book as a permanent reminder i'm thinking of doing some kind of image having to do with the human form.

Graphic design 115

When i saw this logo I was drawn to the design to the side of sun Microsystems. It seems like that take the letter s and make it part of it as well as when you look again it looks like a U as well as an N. Interesting use of the letters.

Graphic design 115

I really liked this when i saw it..I found it on deviant art along with the last piece and was drawn to the use of image as well as lines. It has a cute look something i would totally love to do for a business the color choice being a rich burgundy with the rich orange is nice as well as the girls face for a water mark/ background piece. nicely executed.

graphic design 115

When i saw this during my search for business stationary i was instantly drawn to the style i love the use of blues as well as the almost neon lettering. The lines draw the eye over the complete stationary as well as envelope and business cards. Quite the nice set.

typography

I'm drawn to the color and look of posters like this...I love the flow of words that make up her head piece as well as her shawl. The muted palette of reds and rose is a nice contrast giving it a warm feeling.

CGR -115

With all the changes to the apple logo over the years this still is one of my favorite versions. I love the use of color very retro. Though i understand that they have stream lined the logo since then giving it a more modern appeal to today's consumers. Perhaps to appeal the idea of something faster newer and "shiny"

CGR-115

This is a varied collection of vintage jappanese logos from the 1960's im actually quite partial to the fish logo. I like how the shape is the word itself. This was probably done by hand which to me is quite impressive since i still have not been able to work out how to fit a shape using envelope warp making the process easier perhaps.

typography

I loved the use of text for the girls dress it seems completely hand drawn giving this image a very whimsical feel the details down to the smoke of her cigarette being wispy text is very pretty.

typography

I love the texture used for this hello the colors are very complimentary to each other with the use of textures making it really pop. The gradient used on each letter gives it a nice reflective touch. Even the background and use of candy and sugary treats makes it an interesting composition.

CGR 115

I have a special place for cute jappanese logos...This one is a great example of one. The black and white panda is nicely excented with the yellow background.

typography

This is actually used this picture as a basis of the goggles shape that i used to shape the glasses on my word based poster

typography

When looking for typography elements i found this interesting simple poster. The way the words are built up with a child silhouette on top its a complete representation of what its trying to portray. The spider in red is a nice image to break up the red and white of this.

CGR-115

This is a really detailed logo and its so very pretty i love the color fading around the flower with the airbrushed feel. The font chosen has a nice flow that goes well with the image. Its a nice combination for a graphic design company.

CGR-15

This logo would be an example of what i believe to be a combinational mark since it utilizes a paint brush as well as type. Or perhaps representational since the paint brush is being used. I like the use of colors from the pea green and the soft brown a it was a good color combination choice. Instead of using a paint swish they used a very modern choice of interlacing circles.

typography

I found this poster in my search for typography and again am drawn to the idea of a words used to make a beautiful representation of a face. The descending color scheme from a light yellow down to a darker wine color makes for an interesting effect. With the use of strong statement with the words that are bold-ed out.

CGR-115

Though this is a simple example of a letter head i like the simplicity with just what I would assume would be the initials of said company. It has a good balance though it would be nice to see perhaps a slight more at the top to break it up a bit.

typography

I like this picture due to the fact of it powerful message thank you facebook....I know that it doesn't have a complete use of typography but it does use of what it does have to covey. It is interesting that they seemed to have kept the hand shape by fading out the color of and applying the words on top.

typography

Im really interested in the use of faces in typography with words making up the major details of features. Its an interesting theory and turns out so well, the shadowing with the use of lighter words as highlights and darker as the bolder elements.

CGR-115

This first logo that i found while searching for jappanese logos was so pretty i decided to include it. Though i'm not sure if it is from a real company but i liked the look of the ink wash with the wave very old world feel. The next logo i included because it was from an actual company and was pointed out after the fact when i thought about using a crane. I like that the image includes the crane with the simple fonts involved in the bottom.
